International Desk: Chinese warplanes and drones have crossed the middle line of the Taiwan Strait. Taipei claims that Chinese planes conduct military operations near the island. The autonomous island’s defense ministry called it infiltration. A drone and nine warplanes infiltrated the area between 6 a.m. and noon local time on Friday.

The British newspaper The Guardian reported that Taiwan sent fighter jets to send a warning to the Chinese planes. In such a situation, the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan also said that on Friday, nine Chinese warplanes crossed the central line of Taiwan. They conduct a lot of military exercises. Taiwan considers such actions by China a serious threat to the peace and stability of the region.

Meanwhile, Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen arrived in Guatemala on Friday as part of a 10-day visit to Central America. The Taipei administration said that bilateral relations would be strengthened during his visit. He is also scheduled to visit Belize. Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen will stop in New York and California during the visit. He is scheduled to meet US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy in California during his 10-day visit. The Biden administration has warned the United States not to meet with Sai. Last year, former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan’s capital, Taipei, ignoring Beijing’s threats. In protest, the Chinese military conducted large-scale military exercises around the Taiwan Strait. This created a war situation with Taiwan, part of China.
