International Desk: 6 people including 3 children were killed in a 28-year-old woman’s gun attack at a school in the state of Tennessee, USA. Later, the woman died in a police shooting.
On Monday morning (March 27) local time, the attack took place at The Covenant School in Nashville, the capital of the state of Tennessee. The six who died were Evelyn Dickhouse (9), Haley Scruggs (9), William Kinney (9), Cynthia Peek (61), Catherine Koons (60), and Mike Hill (61).
According to local authorities, the school is a private Christian school. Where up to the sixth standard was taught. The school had about 200 students, ages 11 and 12.
Police said the gunman was carrying two assault-type rifles and a pistol. The police received the news of the shooting at 10:13 a.m. on Monday. The woman opened fire in places like the school lobby. The woman was shot dead by the police at 10:27 a.m. It lasted 14 minutes.
