International Desk: Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese arrived in India on a 4-day visit. He arrived at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Wednesday afternoon, local time.
Ahead of his visit to India, Albanez described the visit as ‘important’. He said, ‘I am taking a business delegation to India. It will be a very important bilateral visit. Improving relations and expanding areas of cooperation are our main goals. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will then come to Australia for a meeting with the Quad leaders, and then I will go to India for the G20 summit.”
An Australian business delegation will participate in the Australia-India CEO Forum in Mumbai to discuss economic cooperation and trade agreements, free trade and investment opportunities, and future investments, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said.
Albanez will be accompanied by Trade and Tourism Minister Don Farrell, senior officials, and members of the business delegation. After watching the India-Australia cricket match, the Prime Minister of Australia will attend the trade meeting in Mumbai. After six long years, an Australian Prime Minister came to India.
