International Desk: There was an explosion inside Rakhani market in Barkhan, in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, on Sunday morning. At least four people were killed. 10 people were injured. The country’s police officers reported this information. Dawn’s news.
Barkhan Station House Officer Sajjad Afzal confirmed the death toll to Dawn. He said that the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Sajjad also said that the police reached the spot and cordoned it off for investigation.
Barkhan Deputy Police Commissioner Abdullah Khoso told Dawn that the improvised explosive device (IED) was kept on the motorcycle. Then there was an explosion.
Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Mir Abdullah Quddus, condemned the attack. He also ordered that all steps be taken to arrest those involved in the attack. He said, “Those who shed the blood of innocent people are enemies of humanity.”
