The United Nations has told the UN that 400 million dollars of aid is necessary for the people of the earthquake-ravaged areas of Syria. The organization also said that Turkey needs 1 billion dollars in aid for the people in the affected areas.

Rescue operations have been going on since the earthquake hit. The number of casualties is increasing every day. Simultaneously, rescue operations and relief assistance are underway. As part of this, 178 trucks with UN aid went from Turkey to Syria. They contain a variety of materials from six UN agencies.
