International Desk: The daughter of North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un, known as the “Noble Daughter,” is Ju-ae. He has been seen interacting with his father in several military programs. He participated with his family in two consecutive state events. But not Ri Sol’s wife; Kim’s daughter, Kim Ju-Ae, has caught the attention of the whole world in these events.
Many people are saying, “But is Ju-Ae going to be Kim’s successor and the next leader of North Korea?”
Kim Joo-ae is 9 or 10 years old. He is believed to be the second child of Kim Jong Un and Ri Sol. The couple has two other children. But Joo-ae is Kim Jong-un’s favorite child. Kim Jong-un has kept North Korea largely isolated from the rest of the world.
Kim Jong-un is now 39 years old. Kim Joo-ae is also young. It’s also surprising that Kim Jong-un would think about his successor at such a young age. But it is very normal in North Korea and in the Kim family. The Kim family has ruled North Korea since 1948. In December 2011, the 20-year-old Kim Jong-un assumed power in North Korea when his father, Kim Jong II, died.
Meanwhile, anyone with the same name as Kim’s 10-year-old daughter has been ordered to change it. A Radio Free Asia report on Friday, without naming the source, said North Korea is pressuring all people named Jo-I to change their names.
The Chongju Security Department in North Pyongan Province called women registered under that name on February 8 and ordered them to change their names. A person said, “Everyone with this name is being traced.” because the name belongs to the noble daughter of the supreme leader.
