International Desk: A helicopter crashed near a kindergarten in the eastern suburbs of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. 16 people were killed, including the country’s interior minister, Denis Monastirsky. BBC news.

Officials of the country said that the minister along with his first deputy minister and secretary of state also died in the incident. Wreckage from a helicopter lies outside a burning building.
The BBC says the helicopter caught fire very close to the kindergarten after it crashed. Later the children and staff were evacuated from the building.
