Dhaka Bureau: Ambassador of the country Paulo Fernando Dias Feres has commented that Brazil can be a big market for Bangladeshi garments.
He said this during a courtesy meeting with the Prime Minister at Ganabhaban on Sunday (January 8) morning. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina emphasized on increasing trade cooperation between Bangladesh and Brazil.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina congratulated the new president of Brazil, Lula de Silva, and expressed grief over Pele’s death.
At the end of the meeting, during the exchange of views with the journalists, it was informed that the Prime Minister insisted on signing the free trade agreement. The meeting also called for the relaxation of some restrictions to facilitate Bangladesh’s pharmaceutical exports to the Brazilian market.
