International desk: Iraq’s anti-terrorist fighters launched a drone attack on Israel’s Ramat David airport. The Popular Mobilization Unit, or PMU, an alliance of Iraqi Islamist resistance groups, claimed responsibility for the attack.
They said that the attack was carried out at the Ramat David airport, located 20 kilometers southeast of Haifa port city.
Iraqi resistance fighters said the drone strike targeted an Israeli air base in the second phase of their war against Israel in support of Gaza.
Earlier on Wednesday, Iraqi fighters attacked important targets in the Israeli port of Eilat.
The PMU has made it clear that the attack was carried out in revenge for the massacres carried out by the Israeli forces in Palestine, especially in the city of Rafah.
The Iraqi coalition said it would continue to target Israel and destroy key installations inside Israel.
