In addition, more than 81,000 Palestinians have been injured in this attack since October 2023. The Anadolu news agency reported this information on Monday (May 27).
According to the report, the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza has increased to 36,500 in the relentless Israeli attack since October last year, according to the Ministry of Health of the besieged territory. The ministry also said in a statement that at least 81 thousand 26 people were injured in the attack.
The ministry also said Israeli forces had carried out seven “massacres” against families in Gaza in the past 24 hours. 33 people were killed, and 383 others were injured. Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as rescuers are unable to reach them.
Israel has continued its brutal attacks on the besieged territory, despite a UN Security Council resolution originally calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
It should be noted that since the unprecedented cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7, Israel has been carrying out continuous air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip. Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, schools, refugee camps, mosques, and churches, have been damaged and destroyed in this Israeli attack.
In addition, more than two million residents have been forced to leave their homes due to Israeli aggression. Basically, the Israeli attack has reduced Gaza to rubble. According to the United Nations, about 85 percent of Gaza’s Palestinians have been displaced by Israel’s brutal offensive. And with severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine, all of Gaza is now food insecure.
In addition, 60 percent of the infrastructure in the besieged territory has been damaged or destroyed. Israel has already been accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice.
