International Desk: An Iranian official in the fleet has given sensational information about the helicopter crash of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. He gave this information in an interview given to the state media last Monday. This information was given in the report by Meher News of Iran.

The official named Gholamhossein Ismaili said that the weather conditions in the Varzakan region of Iran, where the accident happened, were good at the beginning. Raisi’s fleet of helicopters began flying around 1 p.m. local time on May 19. After 45 minutes, Raisi’s helicopter pilot asked the other helicopters to increase altitude and avoid the clouds. After a while, it disappeared.

“After 30 seconds of flying through the clouds, our pilot noticed that the middle helicopter was no longer visible,” the Iranian official said.

Golamhossein said that after that, several attempts were made to contact Raisi’s helicopter. But it was not possible. Meanwhile, unable to lower altitude due to cloud cover, the rest of the helicopters land at a nearby copper mine.

The official in Raisi’s fleet said the pilots of the other two helicopters contacted Captain Mostafavi, who was in charge of the presidential helicopter. But Muhammad Ali Al-Hashem, the imam of Friday prayers in Tabriz, picked up the phone. He said that their helicopter crashed in a valley. Mohammad Ali Al-Hashem survived for several hours after the accident.

Last Sunday, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahian were killed in a helicopter crash in the northwestern province of East Azerbaijan.
