Before that, the bodies will be kept at the Forensic Department in Tabriz.
Incidentally, the helicopter carrying them crashed in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province on Sunday evening. However, the exact cause of the accident is not yet known.

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Abdullahian, was in the same helicopter as President Ibrahim Raisi. Several other high-ranking officials were also present.
Iran’s state media, IRNA, reported that the governor of East Azerbaijan, Malek Rahmati, and the spokesman of Iran’s supreme leader in this province, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, were also in this helicopter.
