International Desk: It is said that Hamas has accepted the proposal made by Egypt and Qatar, the mediator countries, in trying to stop the war in Gaza. Al-Jazeera reported that the Egypt-Qatar proposal agreed to by Hamas calls for three phases. The time taken for each step is 42 days.
The first step would be a cease-fire and Israel withdrawing troops from the Netzarim Corridor that divides northern and southern Gaza.
The second step would be a permanent cessation of military operations and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. And in the third phase, there will be provisions to approve the lifting of the blockade in Gaza.
