Sports Desk: Nigar Sultana Jyoti was on fire in the T20 after being inactive in the ODI series. Bangladesh gave Australia some fighting capital in their fifty. But the fight was not over. Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney picked up Bangladesh’s runs.

Australia beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the first T20 at Mirpur Sher Bangla Cricket Stadium on Sunday (March 31). Batting first, they picked up Bangladesh’s 126 runs with 7 overs left.

Skipper Healy scored 65 runs off 42 balls, while Mooney scored 55 runs off 36 balls. After being cautious in the first over in the run chase, Australia opened up. Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney continue to pick up runs with ease. Bangladesh could not get the balls to loosen these two.

Skipper Healy took fifty off just 36 balls. Mooney reached fifty off 35 balls. Under the power of two people, the representatives of red and green are in a helpless situation. The big difference between Bangladesh and world champion Australia becomes clear. The girls of Bangladesh have suffered the entire ODI series with batting. The T20 series started with the sadness of not being able to score a hundred in any of the three ODIs.

After winning the toss and batting first, the picture is different in batting. Sultana Jyoti, who was expected to bat in ODIs, found herself back in T20. Bangladesh started as a disaster. Dilara Akhtar was dismissed on the first ball of the inning. Sobhana Moshtari departed in the second over. Jyoti lifted the team under pressure after losing two wickets for two runs.

Holds an edge in responsible batting. He hit some great shots for boundaries. With him, Murshida Khatun brought a pair of 57 runs for the third wicket. The pair broke on Murshida’s departure with 20 from 27 balls.

Fahima Khatun played a big role in taking Bangladesh’s run to a good place. T20 easy batting is seen from him. He capitalized on the fight with 27 of 21 balls. The Bangladesh captain, who scored his sixth fifty in T20, remained unbeaten with seven fours for 62 runs. But his innings ended in vain.
