International Desk: Saudi Arabia has issued new instructions on the Tawaf of the Holy Kaaba on the occasion of the upcoming month of Ramadan. According to the new guidelines, only those performing Umrah can circumambulate the Holy Kaaba. And ordinary Muslims are asked to pray inside the mosque. This initiative is taken to ensure the safety and comfort of Umrah pilgrims. This information was given in a statement by the General Presidency Department, which manages the Holy Mosque. News: Gulf News.

Entry into the Holy Kaaba premises has been strictly controlled since the Corona period. Only those performing Umrah could enter there. No one could enter there if he wanted to perform Tawaf normally. And according to the new instructions, now the worshipers will not be able to pray in front of the Kaaba. Many people think that such initiatives have been taken to control the overflowing crowd of Umrah pilgrims in the upcoming month of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, one imam has been reappointed in the Holy Masjid al-Haram and two in the Prophet’s Mosque. They are Dr. Yasir Bin Rashid Al-Dawsari, Dr. Khalid Bin Sulaiman Al-Muhanna, and Dr. Ahmad Bin Ali Al-Huzayfi. On March 6, the board of directors of the two holy mosques gave this information in a statement.

Prior to this, the head of religious affairs of both mosques. Abdur Rahman Al Sudais announced the action plan related to Ramadan. He published a list of eight names as imams for Tarabi and Tahajjud prayers in both mosques. Moreover, Sheikh Dr. Al-Walid bin Khalid al-Shimsan and Shaykh Badr bin Muhammad al-Turki. Sheikh Dr. will be the imam of Tarabi and Tahajjud in Masjid an-Nabawi. Muhammad bin Ahmad Barhaji and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Muhsin Al-Karafi.

It should be noted that the Holy Ramadan will start in the Middle East countries on March 11, depending on the sighting of the moon. Many Muslims around the world perform Umrah in this month. Last year, more than 1 crore, 3 million, and 55 thousand Muslims performed Umrah. Saudi Arabia expects more than two million Umrah pilgrims this year.
