A statement from Mali’s transport ministry later said the bus fell from the bridge on its way to the Kinéiba area of Burkina Faso. It is believed that the bus driver lost control of the bus at that time. At least ten people were injured in this incident. Some of them were seriously injured.
Road accidents often occur in the African country of Mali. Most accidents occur due to the poor condition of roads, highways, and vehicles in the country. Earlier this month, 15 people were killed in a collision between a bus and a truck en route from central Mali to the capital, Bamako. Another 46 people were injured in this accident.
