International Desk: After Iraq and Syria, this time Iran launched a missile attack on Pakistan. Two children were killed. Iran carried out this attack on two bases of the Baluchi group Jaish al-Adal using drones and missiles. Pakistan strongly protested this violation of Iran’s airspace without permission.
Reuters reported this information in a report on Wednesday (January 17).
According to reports, a day after Iran’s Revolutionary Guards launched a missile attack on the headquarters of Israel’s intelligence agency in Iraq and several IS facilities in Syria, this time they also launched a missile attack on Pakistan.
Iran’s state news agency reported that two key bases of the terrorist group Jaish al-Adal were attacked in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. Both bases were destroyed by missiles and drone attacks.
The Jaish Al Adal group has been carrying out subversive activities on the Iran-Pakistan border for a long time. Therefore, Iran has been fighting against this armed group for a long time. In the past, Jaish al-Adal has also claimed responsibility for bombings along the Iranian border and abducting several police officers. However, Iran has never launched such a missile attack on Pakistan before.
Pakistan’s foreign ministry said two children were killed and three others injured in the Iranian attack. Islamabad has issued a stern warning that this illegal attack could have “serious consequences.”.
