Dhaka Bureau: The new price of private liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the consumer level for the month of January will be fixed today.
The price will be set by the regulatory body, the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC), on Tuesday, January 2. BERC provided this information in a press release on Monday (January 1).
It is said that, for the information of all concerned, it is hereby informed that Saudi Aramco will announce through a press briefing the price adjustment of private LPG for the month of January as per the Saudi CP for the month of January 2024.
Earlier, BERC had announced an increase in LPG prices on December 3. Compared to the month of November, the price of a 12 kg cylinder has increased by Tk 23 to Tk 1,404 for the month of December.
