International Desk: Ukraine has postponed several military operations against Russia due to a lack of foreign aid. The front fighters of the country are suffering from a shortage of ammunition.
Ukrainian Army Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi said the crisis was caused by the withholding of $6 trillion in financial aid allocated to Ukraine by Republican lawmakers. Hungary also withheld 5,450 million dollars allocated by the European Union for Kiev. Reuters news.
In an interview, he said, ‘There is a problem with ammunition. Especially the post-Soviet shells of 122 and 152 mm. The same problem has arisen today on the entire frontline.
Tarnavsky said ammunition shortages are a “huge problem” and that foreign military aid is having an impact on the battlefield. The volume we have today is not sufficient in terms of our needs. So we are redistributing them. We are re-planning and shortening the tasks we set for ourselves. We need supplies for those works.
Such comments by the Brigadier General show that Ukraine is completely dependent on Western military cooperation to continue the fight against Russia.
