International Desk: At least 25 people were killed in an Israeli air strike on a school in the besieged Gaza city of Khan Yunis. Displaced people from Gaza had taken refuge there before the attack on the school in the southern part of the valley on Wednesday (December 6). News: AFP.

At least 25 people were killed in Tuesday’s attack on the Ma’an school in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, according to the report, citing the Gaza Health Ministry. Almost all of those killed there were displaced by the ongoing war. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has been conducting continuous airstrikes on this city, the second largest in Gaza, for the past few days.

Eyewitnesses said that more than half a hundred injured people and at least 20 bodies were recovered from under the rubble of Khan Younis’ Ma’an school. The injured have been admitted to An-Naser Hospital in the valley for treatment.

One named Mohamed Salo told AFP, My sister’s body was lying in front of the school, but we could not rescue it. Finally, his body was taken to the hospital.

Salo also said that not only Skulot but every surrounding area is now the target of IDF attacks. Hospitals in Gaza have been without electricity for some time due to a lack of energy. Meanwhile, more than 7,000 people have lost their homes and taken shelter in various hospital premises due to the continued airstrikes by Israeli aircraft. In such a situation, despite the warning of the international community, Israel attacked the Ma’an school in Gaza. Israel has not yet issued a statement on the incident.
