DMP champions beat Chittagong Range team 3-0 in police football

Sports Reporter: In the final match of Bangladesh Police Football Championship (IGP Cup)-2021, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) team beat Chittagong Range team 3-0 to become the champion. Organized by Bangladesh Police Football Club, this match was held on Sunday (November 13) afternoon at Rajarbagh Police Lines field. Inspector General of Police and President of Bangladesh Police Sports Council Chowdhury Abdullah Mamun enjoyed the exciting and interesting football match as the chief guest.
After the game, RAB Director General (Additional IGP) and Bangladesh Police Football Club President M Khurshid Hossain presided over the prize distribution ceremony, DMP Commissioner Khandkar Golam Farooq spoke.

Additional IGPs, senior police officers and players were present on the occasion.
IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Mamun said that in today’s match the players of both the teams played with professionalism and displayed unique sportsmanship. He urged the players to play better in future.
He distributed trophies and prizes to the players of the champion and runner-up teams.
DMP and national football team player Isa Faisal was selected as Man of the Final in the game. Chittagong Range’s Kamal Barua won Man of the Tournament. Rabiul Islam of Dhaka range achieved the highest goal scorer in the tournament. He scored a total of nine goals.
