International Desk: The Palestinian independence organization Hamas launched a series of rocket attacks from the besieged Gaza Strip towards Israel. 250 Israelis have been killed in these attacks so far.
The Israeli media reported that the number of dead in Israel has risen to at least 250 since the start of the Hamas attack on Saturday morning.
Another 1,452 people have been hospitalized, including 18 in critical condition and 267 in critical condition, the country’s health ministry said.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of injured people has increased in all hospitals in southern Israel and Gaza. So not a single bed is available in these hospitals.
In a separate statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that at least 232 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza. Another 1,097 people were injured in this incident.
On Saturday, Hamas fired 5,000 rockets at southern Israel from the Gaza Strip. After the rocket attack, Israel counterattacked.
Saleh al-Aroori, the deputy head of Hamas, said that anything is possible in the current situation. We are ready to counter any Israeli attack by land.
