International Desk: The bodies of a Sikh couple of Indian origin and their two children have been recovered from a house in the state of New Jersey, USA. Police are investigating the matter as a murder. Four bodies were recovered last Wednesday (October 4) at 4:30 p.m. local time.
The deceased are Tej Pratap Singh (43), his wife Sonal Parihar (42), their 10-year-old son, and their 6-year-old daughter (their names are not known).
Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Plainsboro Police Chief Eamon Blanchard said Thursday afternoon local time that the incident is being investigated as a homicide. Police searched a Plainsboro residence after receiving a 911 call on the evening of Oct. 4, they said. Meanwhile, Plainsboro police recovered four bodies from that house.
Relatives of deceased Tej Pratap Singh said they seemed like a happy couple. Tej Pratap Singh was active in various community activities. He worked as a chief engineer for a company called Ness Digital Engineering. His wife also worked in the IT sector. But it is not known where to work.
