A few days ago, the Saudi government gave some’suggestions’ to the Pakistani government regarding the selection of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The message said to be especially careful about the nomination of applicants for Hajj quota.
In a message from the Saudi government, Pakistan has been informed that criminals such as beggars or pickpockets will not get the chance to perform Hajj in clear terms. After that, the decision to drop 16 beggars on their way to Saudi Arabia is considered significant.
In order to control Hajj pilgrims, Saudi Arabia sets a quota for each country. How many people will come to Makkah from any country? Saudi Arabia has to be informed in advance. Financial aid is also available through quotas. Saudi Arabia has already taken precautionary measures to prevent beggars or criminals from entering the quota.
The letter sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs of Pakistan stating that such incidents have happened before says, “Our jails are overcrowded with prisoners of your country.” There is no more space.
