On September 10, the police informed us that ADC Harun was removed from the Ramna Division and attached to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Riot Control or Public Order Management Division. He was transferred to the Armed Police Battalion (APBN) on the evening of the same day.

ADC Haroon was suspended the next day, September 11. Finally, he has been attached to the Rangpur range of police. In this incident, DMP formed a three-member investigation committee on September 11.

The chairman of the committee is Abu Yusuf, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), DMP Headquarters. The other two members are Ramna Division Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Newmarket Zone) Shahen Shah and Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (Detective-Motijheel Division) Md.
