This forecast was made in ADB’s Asian Development Outlook on Wednesday (July 19). This report was released in the morning at the head office of ADB in Manila, Philippines. It is claimed that the price inflation on the Asian continent will decrease to 3.6 percent due to the reduction in the price of fuel oil and food in the international market.
In this way, it is possible to quickly reach the situation before the COVID epidemic. Growth in this region will be 4.8 percent. ADB also reported that the agriculture sector suffered some damage due to floods and cyclones. However, this industry has taken full advantage of government policy support. So exports increased.
However, despite not giving clear statistics about inflation in Bangladesh, ADB has given a glimpse of its increase. It says that both government expenditure and investment have increased. The report also informed us that the import of goods is under control.
