Dhaka Bureau: On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, new notes will be exchanged in certain banks from Sunday (April 9). The common people can collect these notes until April 17, except on weekends and public holidays. These notes are available in 40 branches of Scheduled Bank and various offices of Bangladesh Bank.

Last Wednesday (March 29), a circular from the Communication and Publications Department of Bangladesh Bank informed that, except on weekends and public holidays, new notes of 5, 10, and 20 taka will be exchanged in a special system through 40 branches of different scheduled banks and various offices of Bangladesh Bank in the Dhaka region. will be done. The same person cannot take new notes more than once. However, while withdrawing notes, one can take any amount of metal currency (coins) from the counter, regardless of value.
