International Desk: Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of Russian mercenary supplier Wagner, recently released a video. The dead bodies of Ukrainian soldiers are kept in coffins. Prigogine says, ‘Ukrainians are being sent home in coffins.’ This information was given in a report by the news agency Reuters.
According to the report, the video released on Saturday (March 4) shows Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of Wagner, in full combat gear, being filled with the corpses of Ukrainian soldiers in coffins, which will be sent from Russian-controlled territory to Kiev-controlled territory.
“We are sending another shipment to repatriate the fighters of the Ukrainian army,” Prigozhin said in his video. They fought and died bravely. Finally, a truck will take them back to their motherland.’
Video footage shows soldiers in uniform of the armed forces nailing the coffin into a truck. Wagner’s army, led by Prigozhin, besieged the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut. Prigogine has repeatedly praised Ukraine’s military as a worthy and capable adversary.
Earlier, the Wagner chief claimed in a video message on Friday (March 3) that the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut had been surrounded. He called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to hand over control of the city to Russia.
In a video posted on Telegram, Wagner’s boss, Prigogine, appearing in combat uniform, said: “Units of the private military organization Wagner have literally surrounded Bakhmut with only one road left. The attack also blocked the way out of the city.
In the video, Prigozhin called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to order his troops to withdraw from Bakhmut to save their lives.
