Dhaka Bureau: The central bank has issued guidelines for age relaxation in bank job applications. In this, the job seekers who have crossed the age of 30 at the time of Corona can also apply for a job in the bank.
A circular in this regard has been issued by the Banking Regulations and Policy Department of the Central Bank on Wednesday (November 2). The circular has been sent to the Managing Directors (MDs) and Chief Executive Officers of all Scheduled Banks operating in the country.
According to the circular, due to the situation of Covid-19, the central bank has given instructions to all the banks which could not publish the circular for the purpose of direct recruitment, to take measures to fix the maximum age limit of the candidates on March 25, 2020 in the recruitment circular to be published till June 30, 2023. .
That is, the candidates whose age was 30 years as on March 25, 2020, will also be eligible for recruitment to the bank job up to June 30, 2023. This directive will be effective immediately.
