Huge collection of Khulna in the century of Azam Khan

Sports Desk: Pakistani batsman Azam Khan of Khulna Tigers took the first century of the ninth season of BPL by beating the bowlers of Chittagong Challengers. Based on his century, Khulna set a huge target of 179 runs in front of Chittagong.

Both teams lost badly in their first match. The two teams entered the field at 6:30 PM at the Shajr-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur to win the tournament for the first time. Chittagong captain Shubhagat Home invited Khulna to bat after winning the toss.

Azam Khan, the Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman of Khulna, played a great innings of 109 runs with 9 fours and 8 fours in just 58 balls. The first century of this year’s BPL came from the bat of Azam Khan. Khulna set a huge target of 179 runs in front of Chittagong at the end of the 20 overs scheduled for the sake of his century.

Tiger opener Tanim Iqbal indicated to return to the rhythm by batting for Khulna. Opener Sharjeel Khan and Habibur Rahman got out quickly, but Tamim and Azam Khan kept Khulna running. Runs came from Tamim Iqbal’s bat in this match, although it was a bit slow.

The ODI captain of the Tigers was dismissed by Vijaykanth after scoring 40 runs off 37 balls with 5 fours and 1 six. However, Azam Khan has given the main storm over Chittagong bowlers. This batsman left the field after playing an unbeaten innings of 109 runs in 58 balls with 9 fours and 8 sixes.

Khulna Tigers collected 178 runs for 5 wickets at the end of the scheduled 20 overs based on the Pakistani batsman’s century.
