India has been placed in Bangladesh’s group in the Asian Cup qualifiers. The two teams are meeting in the third match. Hong Kong and Singapore are in Group ‘C’ with these two teams.
The draw for the third round of the Asian Cup qualifiers was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Monday (December 9). Bangladesh has been placed in the fourth pot according to the FIFA rankings.
Bangladesh is currently last in the FIFA rankings of Bangladesh’s group. The red-green team is currently ranked 185th. India is the top team in this group, ranked 137th. The remaining two teams, Hong Kong and Singapore, are ranked 156th and 161st, respectively.
In this qualifier, 24 teams will be divided into six groups and play the qualifiers on a home and away basis. The third round is scheduled to begin next March.
