Former Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga is in third place after Shakib and Afridi. Malinga got 38 wickets at an average of 20.07 in 31 innings in 31 matches. The next name in the top five is Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal (36). Sri Lanka’s Ajantha Mendis and Pakistan’s Umar Gul have 35 wickets at five and six, respectively.

Shakib is one of the best players currently playing. After him is India’s Ravichandran Ashwin. This Indian off-spinner has taken 32 wickets in 24 innings. Ashwin is followed by Sri Lanka’s current captain, Wanindu Hasaranga. The Lankan skipper took 31 wickets in just 16 innings.
