International Desk: The unity of the Muslim Ummah can play an important role in solving the Palestinian crisis, said Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud.
The Foreign Minister held a bilateral meeting with Riyad Mansour, the Permanent Observer of Palestine, at the United Nations on May 3 on the sidelines of the Pre-Preparatory Foreign Ministerial Meeting of the 15th OIC Summit. At that time, the minister made this comment.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this information in a press release on Saturday, May 4.
In the meeting, Riyad Mansoor highlighted the current situation in Palestine and requested Bangladesh to continue supporting Palestine in international forums.
Dr. in the meeting. Hasan Mahmood conveyed the support of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the people of Bangladesh to the people of Palestine. He also expressed the opinion that the member states of the OIC should take united and tougher measures against Israel in order to permanently end the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people.
Note that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hasan Mahmud, is leading the Bangladesh delegation at the pre-preparatory Foreign Ministerial meeting of the 15th OIC Summit.
