Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed optimism that the import of fuel oil from India will start through the pipeline next year. He said, ‘Bangladesh wants to import oil from India through the pipeline. Hopefully it can be started next year.

The Prime Minister also said that the border huts between Bangladesh and India will be reopened in different parts of the border line of the two countries due to the closure during the Corona period.
The 130 km long India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline (IBFPL) project aims to export oil products from India to Bangladesh.
