Sports Desk: The prestigious running event ‘Turag Active Dhaka 25K 2024’ was organized for the first time by Run Bangladesh to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Dhaka.
25 km in the international race that started on Friday (March 8) in the capital Hatirjheel. Imran Hasan became the first in the category.
A total of 2000 runners from 15 countries participated in three categories, including 25km, 10.3 km, and 3km. Ashraful Alam is 1st and Arman Numusin is 2nd runner-up in this category. Shaolin Sigma became the champion in the women’s 25-kilometer category. 1st Runner-Up: Sarwat Parveen, and 2nd Runner-Up: Ari Lee Kaike.
Male 10.3 km. Golam Rahat became the champion in the category. 1st runner-up in this category: Sheikh Nahid Uddin, and 2nd runner-up: Amir Hossain. Women: 10.3 km. Mosammat Samia won the category, followed by 1st runner-up Rahia Evans and 2nd runner-up Yasmin Lisa.
Yash Ruman, 1st runner-up Zarif Taj, and 2nd runner-up Al Faraji Haque won the 3 km boys category. In the 3km girls category, Raoshia Ruman was the champion, Amara Mahin was the 1st runner-up, and Arya Noor Binte was the 2nd runner-up.
The event is organized with the aim of increasing citizensawareness of healthy living and strengthening emotional bonds among the participants.
