Al-Jazeera reports that Jose Adolfo Macias, the country’s biggest drug mafia, recently escaped from prison. Masias was serving a 34-year sentence in a regional jail in the country’s port city of Guayaquil.
At least eight people were killed and at least three others wounded in the attack in Guayaquil, the country’s police said Tuesday. Terrorists also killed two police officers near Noble town.
The terrorists also kidnapped at least 7 police officers. A video has gone viral on social media showing three police officers sitting on the floor with guns pointed at them. A statement is being forcefully taught to one of them.
