Sports Desk: Within a month, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BAFFE) lifted the ban imposed on the Bangladesh Sports Education Institute (BKSP). Besides, the organization also waived the financial penalty of one lakh tks.
In a press release on Tuesday (January 2), Buffafe announced the lifting of the ban in addition to several other issues.
According to the notification, the decision was taken by the BFF as per the recommendation of the appeals committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation. A total of three issues have been decided.
First of all, Kazi Nazrul Islam, the team manager of Abahani Limited Dhaka, has been fined Tk 30,000. Besides, instead of playing four games on behalf of his own team, he has been ordered to abstain from a total of two games. And it has been decided to strictly warn people to avoid such activities in the future.
In the second decision, the ban of 1 year and financial fine of 1 lakh taka were waived by BKSP. Also, transparency has been urged in the process of releasing players from BKSP to any other club or organization. On December 10, BAFFE informed BKSP about the punishment. Accordingly, the institution waived the penalty within a month.
In this regard, the senior coach of BKSP, Shahinul Haque, has been given a 1-year ban from all football-related activities, and a monetary fine of Tk 25,000 has been waived.
