International Desk: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented that the West is pushing the Middle East towards a major war. He made these comments at an event in Moscow on Monday.

“Now we see how the Anglo-Saxons (the Western world) are pushing the Middle East towards a major war,” Lavrov said. Earlier, they played the same role in Ukraine, Iraq, and Syria.

He said that due to this policy of theirs, there are war casualties, terrorism, religious fundamentalism, refugee problems, migrant crises, and the number of displaced people is increasing along with it.

Lavrov said the West wants to expand wars because they are getting used to using other people’s money to solve their own problems, but it is not possible. You cannot continue to dominate someone shamelessly. That time is no more.

On October 7, Hamas fighters from the Palestinian resistance group based in Gaza launched an ambush inside Israel. Since that day, Israel’s air force has begun operations in Gaza. That campaign is still going on.

1500 people were killed in Israel by the Hamas attack. In addition, on the first day of the attack, about twenty-two people from Israel were taken hostage by Hamas fighters in Gaza.

On the other hand, the number of people killed in Gaza by the Israeli Air Force has exceeded 10,000. More than half of these victims are children and women.

According to international political analysts, this is the first such large-scale conflict in the Al-Aqsa region of the Middle East since the 1953 Arab-Israeli war.

At least 1.5 million people have been displaced in the Gaza Strip in the last month by the Israeli air force. About 670,000 of them have taken shelter in UNRWA-run schools.
