International Desk: The Palestinian girl Ahed Tamimi (23), who became a symbol of the Palestinian resistance movement by kicking and slapping an occupying Israeli soldier, has been arrested from her home in the West Bank.
Ahed’s mother, Nariman Tamimi, told the media that Israeli forces took him from his home in the West Bank town of Nabi Saleh on Monday, citing Jinjasabad. News from Anadolu
He also said that Israeli soldiers entered the house, checked Ahed Tamimi’s mobile phone, and arrested him.
It should be noted that the Palestinian girl was released after serving eight months in prison in 2018 for kicking and slapping an Israeli soldier.
Soon after the video of the incident went viral online, the young woman became the new symbol of the Palestinian resistance movement.
