International Desk: Oman has stopped all visas for Bangladeshis. The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that the suspension of new visa issuance for all categories of Bangladeshi citizens will come into effect on Tuesday.
The opportunity to change visas for expatriates coming to Oman on tourist and visit visas has also been suspended.
The ROP is suspending all tourist and visit visa changes for nationals of all countries visiting Oman under the policy review, a statement said. Prior to this decision, expatriates could enter Oman on a visit visa and later change it to an employment visa.
It also said that the issuance of all types of visas to Bangladeshi citizens will be suspended from Tuesday until further notice.
