Earlier on Sunday (October 29), 5 thousand 678 vehicles crossed in 24 hours on the first day. And the revenue was collected at 12 lakh, 13 thousand.

Belayet Hossain, manager of Bangabandhu Toll Plaza, said that we have a three-way toll collection system with modern electronics that cards manually. The experience of Padma Bridge has been utilized here. On Monday, 750 vehicles passed through the spectacular 16 toll plazas in the first 6 hours. Revenue collection is two lakh tk.
He said that even if the pressure on vehicles increases in the future with the use of modern technology, there will be no traffic jams.
In this regard, Assistant Engineer of Karnaphuli Bangabandhu Tunnel Project Raihanur Islam said that this tunnel has been made by ensuring all kinds of safety measures. Adequate safety measures are in place to avoid various accidents and natural calamities, including fire, floods, and cyclones.
