Dhaka Bureau: Pre-primary classes are starting tomorrow, Tuesday (May 7), after being closed due to a severe heat wave across the country. At the same time, the daily assembly of all classes will also be held. The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education announced this information in a circular on Monday (May 6).
According to the notification, from May 7, all government primary schools (including pre-primary classes), child welfare trust primary schools, and non-formal education bureau learning centers will continue according to the 2024 academic year calendar.
It should be noted that the educational institution was scheduled to open on April 21 after the Eid holiday, but it was delayed until April 28. Due to the heat wave, educational institutions were closed several times. Primary schools are closed until May 2. All government primary schools opened on May 5 after a two-day weekly holiday. Several activities, including preschool classes, were closed. They will run on Tuesday.
