Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the present government has developed the army as a very modern, efficient, and timely force, along with the development of other sectors of the country, keeping the dream of the father of the nation in its heart.
He said this while inaugurating the newly constructed Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) building and Army Central Auditorium-Army premises in Dhaka Cantonment on Sunday morning.
The Prime Minister said that this new building has been constructed for the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology to ensure better medical services for the people living in the Dhaka Cantonment area. Besides, the Army Central Auditorium-Senapraganan has been constructed for organizing various important meetings, seminars, and programs at the national and international levels.
Advisors to the Prime Minister on Security Affairs, Health Minister, State Minister for Health, three army chiefs, senior military and civilian officers of Dhaka Cantonment, and officers of various ranks were present at the event.
