M. Rezaul Karim said that if Sheikh Russell was alive, he would have been able to fulfill Bangabandhu&#8217;s dream. Bangabandhu would have been a great successor. He had great potential for leadership qualities. He will inspire us for eternity. He will inspire us to move forward on the path of dreams by being the shining astrologer in the darkness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The minister said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting and doa mahfil organized on the occasion of celebrating Sheikh Russell Day 2023 in the conference room of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock at the Secretariat on Wednesday (October 18) afternoon. The Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock organizes this discussion meeting and doa mahfil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The minister also said that on August 15, 1975, baby Russell was brutally killed. It is needless to say how cruel and merciless those who managed to shoot little Russell were. The events of August 15, 1975, also beat the brutality of the Karbala desert. There have been many political assassinations in the world. But pregnant women and children were not killed like this in any murder. The horrific, hellish, barbaric incident that took place at Bangabandhu Bhavan on August 15\u2014no other country in the history of the world has witnessed this brutality. Be it political assassinations or other assassinations,<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">The minister said, It is our misfortune that the murderers of &#8217;75 roamed this country with arrogance. To save them from the powerless Khandaker Mushtaq, Ziaur Rahman and their associates arranged to go abroad. They even returned to the country and became members of the national parliament, electing the president. In 1979, the law was also passed by the parliament of Bangladesh that this brutal murder cannot be prosecuted. An attempt was made in this country to protect the brutality of history within the legal framework. The murderers were allowed to walk around with a swagger. Not all murderers have been tried yet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Sh. Rezaul Karim also said that although the father&#8217;s proximity was not great, the compassion of the child Russell for the father was strong. Her love and attraction were centered around her father. Sheikh Russell had a strong personality, like Bangabandhu. There was nobility in his behavior and speech.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Nripendra Chandra Debnath, Additional Secretary of the Ministry, gave a welcome speech in the discussion meeting under the chairmanship of Nahid Rashid. Additional Secretary of the Ministry, ATM Mustafa Kamal, and Md. Tofajzel Hossain Officials from various levels of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock were present at this time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #252525; text-align: justify;\">In the discussion meeting, the Secretary of Fisheries and Livestock said that Sheikh Russell would have been Bangabandhu&#8217;s sonar Bengal Kandari if he had lived. Sheikh Russell had the qualities of Bangabandhu. Sheikh Russell&#8217;s death beats all the tragedies in the world.
