Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun MP said that while Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working tirelessly to build an industrial-rich, smart Bangladesh, following in the footsteps of Bangabandhu, the anti-independence people are trying to create instability in the country. Therefore, so that the development and progress of the country do not stop in any way, everyone must be careful, love the country wholeheartedly, and work sincerely for the overall welfare of the country.<\/p>\n

The Industries Minister said these things in the chief guest’s speech on the occasion of the celebration of ‘Sheikh Russell Day-2023’ organized by the Industries Ministry. The event was organized today at the Ministry of Industry. State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumdar MP was present as a special guest at the event under the chairmanship of Zakia Sultana, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Industry. Senior officials of the Ministry of Industry and heads of various departments were present at this time.

The Industries Minister also said that Bangabandhu and Bangladesh are one and the same. Therefore, we all have to take initiative so that our future generation can grow up in the spirit of Bangabandhu’s principles, ideals, and liberation war. Our new generation should be told the true history of the country; they should be made good citizens in the spirit of the great liberation war. The upcoming twelfth national parliament election will be according to the constitution; there will be no exception.<\/p>\n

In the speech of the special guest, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumdar MP said that on August 15, 1975, the assassins had planned and brutally killed Bangabandhu’s family to eradicate them. Bangabandhu’s two daughters, Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana, survived that day due to being outside the country. Those who talk about humanity today, where was their humanity in 1975? Those who are killing people indiscriminately in different parts of the world, including Palestine, do not agree with the words of humanity. He also said that it was Ziaur Rahman who killed democracy through yes-no voting and introduced liquor-gambling houses in the name of development in villages. His son, Tariq Rahman, now talks big from outside the country. If he had honest courage, he would have come home to see his mother and deal with the case.<\/p>\n

In the president’s speech, Senior Industry Secretary Zakia Sultana said Sheikh Russell was brutally killed by assassins when he was only 10 years old. The talented Sheikh Russell would have taken himself to a unique height had he lived. If he had worked for the welfare of the country and the nation, the development and progress of the country would have been accelerated. He also said that everyone should sincerely work for human welfare from their respective positions, keeping Bangabandhu’s ideals in mind and being energized by the spirit of the great liberation war. The development and progress of the country must be continued, and with the united efforts of all, Bangabandhu’s dream of Sonar Bangla, i.e., smart Bangladesh, must be built.<\/p>\n
