His real name is Arun Kumar.<\/span><\/span> He has a B.Sc. in Visual Communication from Satyabhama College, Chennai.<\/span><\/span> Atlee started his career as an assistant to the famous film director Shankar.<\/span><\/span> He worked as Shankar’s assistant in ‘Nanban’ (the Tamil remake of Three Idiots) and Rajinikanth’s ‘Enthiran’ (Robot).<\/span><\/span> Apart from this, he directed the short film ‘Mugaputtagam’.<\/span><\/span> It starred Tamil film actor Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role.<\/span><\/span> Atlee’s movie received a lot of praise.<\/span><\/span> After that, he approached some producers about the script of a movie called ‘Raja’.<\/span><\/span> Tamil filmmaker AR Murugadoss agreed to produce the film.<\/span><\/span> The film was produced under the banner of Fox Star Studios.<\/span><\/span> The movie stars Arya, Joy, Nayantara, and Nazriya Nazim.<\/span><\/span> It was one of the biggest hits of that year.<\/span><\/span> Its construction cost was around 25 crore rupees.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The film grossed around Rs. 84 crore at the box office.<\/span><\/span> Critics also appreciated the movie. It was a huge Tamil hit at that time.<\/span><\/span> The movie was screened at the Grand Rex, one of Europe’s largest cinemas.<\/span><\/span> Vijay also worked in Atlee’s next movie, ‘Bigil’.<\/span><\/span> The movie did a business of Rs 58 crore on the first day.<\/span><\/span> 75 crore business in the next four days.<\/span><\/span> According to the film’s production company, AGS, the film has grossed over Rs 300 crore.<\/span><\/span> This is Vijay’s first movie, which grossed Rs 300 crore.<\/span><\/span> During the production of Bigil, it was revealed that Atlee was casting actor Shah Rukh Khan in his next film.<\/span><\/span> It was finally announced in June 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
