Inayetur Rahim passed the order on Wednesday (September 20) after hearing the plea of the state.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Attorney General Amin Uddin heard the state&#8217;s side in court. <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Assistant Attorney General Mohammad Saiful Alam was with him.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In addition, the president of the Supreme Court Lawyers Association was on behalf of the accused.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Momtaz Uddin Fakir <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Earlier, on Tuesday (September 19), the main accused in the murder of journalist Gholam Rabbani Nadeem, Mahmudul Alam Babu, was granted 6 months bail by the High Court.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Justice Md.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The High Court bench of Jahangir Hossain and Justice Mohammad Shawkat Ali Chowdhury gave the order.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">After granting bail, Deputy Attorney General Anwara Shahjahan said that the High Court has granted six months of bail to Mahmudul Alam Babu, the main accused in the murder case.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">However, Attorney General Amin Uddin said that the bail application was filed on the same day.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In continuation of that, it was heard today.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Incidentally, on the night of June 14, terrorists led by the sacked chairman of Sadhurpara Union Parishad, Mahmudul Alam Babu, beat journalist Gholam Rabbani Nadeem and hit him on the head with a brick.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The next day, June 15, he died at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital while undergoing treatment.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In this incident, on June 17, Nadeem&#8217;s wife, Monira Begum, filed a murder case at the Bakshiganj police station, naming 22 people, including Mahmudul Alam Babu, and accusing 20\u201325 unknown people.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Law and order forces arrested 17 people, including Babu, in this case.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamalpur Correspondent: The Chamber Court of the Appellate Division suspended the bail granted by the High Court to the expelled UP Chairman Mahmudul Alam Babu, the prime accused in the murder case of journalist Golam Rabbani Nadeem of Bakshiganj, Jamalpur.
