{"id":9093,"date":"2023-09-19T10:28:07","date_gmt":"2023-09-19T10:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=9093"},"modified":"2023-09-19T10:28:07","modified_gmt":"2023-09-19T10:28:07","slug":"five-people-including-adc-harun-sanjida-are-going-to-trap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/9093\/","title":{"rendered":"Five people, including ADC Harun-Sanjida, are going to trap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Dhaka Bureau:<\/strong> The investigation committee formed by the police has found that three leaders of the Chhatra League were arrested and beaten up at Shahbag police station in the capital.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The committee will submit the investigation report to the Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Tuesday.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to sources related to the investigation, the investigation report will recommend action against five policemen, including ADC Harun and ADC Sanjida Afrin.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Besides, ADC Sanjida&#8217;s husband, Assistant Private Secretary (APS) Azizul Haque, and Chhatra League leaders involved in the incident are also responsible, the committee said.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sources on the investigation committee say that the reputation of the police and the administration has been tarnished by this incident, which happened due to personal conflict.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Disciplinary action has been recommended against those involved.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">DMP Joint Commissioner (Operations) Biplab Kumar Sarkar said that the committee formed in the incident has completed the investigation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The DMP Commissioner will take action against the culprits based on the report.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">On the night of September 9, ADC (suspended) Harun-or-Rashid of the Ramna Division of the police and another government official, Azizul Haque Mamun, clashed at Bardem Hospital in the capital.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Another police officer and wife of Azizul Haque Mamun, Sanjida Afrin, was involved in the incident.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">As a result of this, two Central Chhatra League leaders were taken to the Shahbag police station, and allegations of torture were raised.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The incident sparked a storm of discussion and criticism among the general public, political figures, and police officials.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka Bureau: The investigation committee formed by the police has found that three leaders of the Chhatra League were arrested and beaten up at Shahbag police station in the capital.
