{"id":9070,"date":"2023-09-18T06:17:47","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T06:17:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=9070"},"modified":"2023-09-18T06:17:47","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T06:17:47","slug":"clash-between-two-groups-of-the-awami-league-1-killed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/9070\/","title":{"rendered":"Clash between two groups of the Awami League; 1 killed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Comilla Correspondent:<\/strong> A volunteer league leader named Nizam Sarkar (40) was killed in a clash between two groups of the Awami League in Meghna, Comilla.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At least 10 people were injured in this incident.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">They have been admitted to Dhaka Medical.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">This incident took place in Chalibhanga village of the upazila around 7 a.m. on Monday, September 18. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The injured are Anis Sarkar (18), Titu Sarkar (28), Suman (25), Delwar (28), Ibrahim (30), Ramzan (35), Shakeel (22), Khaled Hasan (19), Hanif (45), and Wasim<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">(35).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The deceased Nizam&#8217;s house is in Nalchar village of the upazila.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">His father&#8217;s name is Akkas Member.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He is the joint convener of the Chalibhanga Union Volunteer League.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">He also has a sand business.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">His wife Salma Akhtar and brother Sanaullah Sarkar said that there was a clash between two groups of the Awami League in Chalibhanga in the morning.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Hearing the news, Nizam went to the spot from home.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">After going there, he was also beaten by the opponent.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Besides Nizam, several people were injured.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">All of them were brought to Dhaka Medical.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Then the doctor declared Nizam dead.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Relatives of the deceased, including Sirajul Islam, said that the clash between Upazila Parishad member Qawyum and Chalibhanga Union Chairman Humayun Kabir&#8217;s group <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The deceased belonged to the group of Nizam Union Svechchasevak League leader and union chairman.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In charge of Dhaka Medical Police Camp,<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Bachchu Mia said that the body has been kept in the morgue.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The injured are under treatment in the emergency department.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Some of them are in serious condition.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Comilla Correspondent: A volunteer league leader named Nizam Sarkar (40) was killed in a clash between two groups of the Awami League in Meghna, Comilla.
