{"id":9026,"date":"2023-09-17T06:33:53","date_gmt":"2023-09-17T06:33:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/?p=9026"},"modified":"2023-09-17T06:33:53","modified_gmt":"2023-09-17T06:33:53","slug":"the-bodies-of-two-children-were-recovered-after-8-hours-of-disappearance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thecrimebd.net\/english\/news\/9026\/","title":{"rendered":"The bodies of two children were recovered after 8 hours of disappearance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>Tangail Correspondent:<\/strong> On Saturday, September 16, at around 10 o&#8217;clock, the bodies of two children were recovered from the pond next to the house in the Hikaya Paschimpara area of the upazila.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Meem is the daughter of Kamrul Hasan of that area, and Jhuma is the daughter of Babul Mia.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Both of them were students at Hekaya Government Primary School.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The upazila is in extreme panic after the bodies of two more children were recovered within a week in Sakhipur.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to the child&#8217;s family and local sources, Meem and Jhuma went out to play after having lunch on Saturday.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Even after the evening, they did not return home.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Since then, the family has started searching for them.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The dead body was found after searching with a net in the pond on the north side of the house until 10:15 p.m.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Meanwhile, after Saturday evening, when the news of the disappearance of children Meem and Jhuma spread on social media, panic was created throughout the upazila.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Earlier, on September 8, 9-year-old Samia was brutally killed after being abducted in Dariyapur village of the upazila.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">As a result, the news of missing children of the same age, Meem and Jhuma, is causing extreme panic among the upazila residents.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Hikaya-Rajabari Union Parishad Chairman Humayun Khan said, &#8220;After learning about the incident, we conducted miking in the area.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Along with campaigning through social media, I searched the surrounding area.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Later, their bodies were recovered from the pond.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Sakhipur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Karim said that the police were sent to the spot after receiving information about the disappearance.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">No one has complained to the police till now.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Legal action will be taken if complaints are received.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tangail Correspondent: On Saturday, September 16, at around 10 o&#8217;clock, the bodies of two children were recovered from the pond next to the house in the Hikaya Paschimpara area of the upazila.
